The Argyle is situated in a pretty scenic part of Sydney on Argyle street the rocks. About a 5 minute walk from work. There is alot to offer with functions most weekends. Notables coming up Melbourne Cup Day, the Halloween party this Thursday and 'Taking it back' on the 5th of November, predominantly dj event. Weekly 2 for 1 cocktails on Thursday nights will ensure a good time and quick memory loss. Your never short of a good dj on a Friday or Saturday night with upstairs taking the cake for the squarest dance moves and latest music. The Cone shape of the male urinals make toilet breaks exciting and the shared hand washing area ease's conversation with the opposite sex. The food is well priced and the late night menu available until close is pretty unique. Great venue for respectable business chatter however can turn silly if that's on the cards as closing time generally isn't until 2am. All in All you can’t really go wrong with the Argyle but be wary collared shirts are almost always a must and make sure the wallet is heavy before entry, drinks don't come cheap.
Here at Aegis, we love a lunch or two, and are not adverse to the occasional tipple. For like minded types, we've pulled this blog together to share the best and worst of what this corner of Sydney has to offer. To contribute get in contact with Fiona or Adam
