The Lowenbrau has a great atmosphere, serving your usual Bavarian culinary delights such as schnitzel, bratwurst and pork belly. And our favourite part, the beers come in litre glasses, 2 of these or 1 in some peoples case and your night is sure to lift off. The live entertainment downstairs with the Oom Pah Pah Band’s traditional tunes can be amusing or dull, however for those in need of a few modern tunes then just walk upstairs to the Uber Bar, if you don’t love your cheesy music you will do after consuming 2 Steins on a Friday night. The Australian for Pizza

The best pub pizzas in my humble opinion! Get 1 pizza and a salad to share between 2. The duck pizza is the BEST with beautiful tangy BBQ sauce and more duck than i've seen in a Peking wrap. Book ahead for lunch / dinner on Thursday and Fridays as this place gets super busy.

A nice vibe, friendly, if over worked staff, and outside is a great place to people watch.

The Lord Nelson Brewery Hotel

Built in 1836, The Lord Nelson is a great pub with an old English feel, with bar food served such as Pork Pies with Hot English Mustard and Mango Chutney, along with a variation of Ploughman’s platters. They brew their own beer and have a good selection of ales on tap, these can be ordered in your traditional English measures “The Pint Glass”. Fill this up with a splash of their home brewed Three Sheets and you will be sure to have a productive afternoon. Their
pub menu samples delights such as Pie, Mash and Mushy peas along with Fish and Chips and Salads etc. Upstairs, they also have a restaurant for finer dining, more suited to a formal client lunch. Being just 50 steps away from the office, it’s hard to avoid!

The Hero of Waterloo

It may not look like much, but we all know looks can be
deceiving. This little gem is legendary on a Friday night, from
MD’s busting out an Irish jig to their popular Irish folk band to a
few talented peeps serenading us on the old piano. The staff
are well mannered and patient. Watch out for these Friday
sessions, what happens in the Hero stays in the Hero. On a
serious note, this pub was famous for the odd passed out patron
being kidnapped and smuggled out to the harbour in their
underground tunnels and then waking up far out to sea.
